This year, our school community achieved meaningful academic progress in multiple subject areas:

• Science: Our most significant accomplishment! Proficiency soared from 10.6% to 25.0%—an outstanding 14.4 percentage point increase
• English Language Arts (ELA): Proficiency climbed from 10.6% to 19.2%—a strong 8.6 percentage point gain

These results reflect comprehensive academic growth and demonstrate what's possible when students, teachers, and families work together toward shared goals.

A Community Effort These achievements belong to everyone in the Newcomb High family. Our students showed up every day ready to learn and grow. Our teachers brought passion, expertise, and innovation to their classrooms. Our staff created supportive environments where learning could flourish. And our families provided the encouragement and support that makes all the difference.

Looking Ahead This progress energizes us as we continue our mission of academic excellence. We remain committed to building on this momentum and providing every student with the tools and support they need to succeed.

Congratulations to our entire school community on this well-deserved recognition. Together, we are proving that dedication and collaboration lead to extraordinary results!
